PV Tech Lead
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated PV Tech Lead with experience in Pharmacovigilance (PV) Technologies, specifically focusing on Argus Safety database implementation and upgrades. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the system, ensuring compliance with Computer System Validation (CSV) procedures, and leading the team in executing system upgrades and migrations.
Location: Remote- Anywhere in USA
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure project success.
- Lead the Safety system implementation and upgrades 7.x to 8.x, DLP and Argus Insight databases solution provider.
- Guide the team in identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing effective technical solutions.
- Oversee the integration of safety system with downstream applications.
- Lead and plan of execution and testing the migration of legacy data and data from other commercial safety systems into your internal system(s) and vice versa.
- Ensure all processes comply with Computer System Validation (CSV) standards, including the creation and maintenance of validation documentation
- Experience as the primary point of contact for clients regarding system upgrades and implementations, ensuring clear communication and understanding of client needs and expectations.
- Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams to facilitate smooth transitions during system upgrades and implementations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Contribute and lead the planning, strategizing, and implementing activities and processes based on industry best practices and company standards.
- Collaborate with project, client, and BA teams to finalize requirement specifications, analysing both business and functional requirements.
- Take accountability for authoring and owning key technical deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in managing projects from a technology perspective, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project goals.
Minimum Education Qualification, Specialized Knowledge, and Skills
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PV Technologies with a focus on Argus Safety database implementation and upgrades.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a technical team.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience in Safety system implementation and upgrades 7.x to 8.x, maintenance, DLP and Argus Insight databases solution provider
- Experience in testing the migration of legacy data and data from other commercial safety systems into your internal system(s) and vice versa.
- Experience in Computer System Validation (CSV) standards, including the creation and maintenance of validation documentation
- Experience with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to Pharmacovigilance and safety databases.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field .
