Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Help in business expansion by generating new contracts, assignments and PV services.

  • Participate and represent the company at high visibility Drug Safety / PV events, generate leads and interest from potential clients and enhance existing relationships and partnerships.

  • Plan sales and go-to-market strategies and pitches.

  • Develop proposals that cater to client’s needs, concerns and to company’s business objectives.

  • Leverage networking, calling, social media and marketing skills to generate new business leads.

  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network and contacts in the industry.

  • Manage accounts to generate both new and repeat business.

  • Stay abreast with changing regulatory guidelines in PV industry.

  • Identify and develop new accounts and follow up on existing leads

  • Develop responses for RFIs, RFPs, review assigned SOWs, contracts, manage contract amendments and work orders as required.

  • Forecast sales targets in collaboration with company’s executive management and ensure these are met.

  • Track and record activity on accounts and lead to close the deals to meet these targets.

  • Continuously evaluate the market for emerging technologies and new business opportunities.

 

Minimum Education Qualification, Specialized Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferably in a science or information technology discipline.

  • Preferably 5 years of sales / business development experience.

  • Experience with alliances, partnering or licensing

  • Good networking and marketing skills

  • Good negotiation and public speaking skills

  • Experienced in Sales Planning, marketing strategy, identification of client requirements and challenges.

  • End-to-end sales experience including prospects and opportunity identification, responding to RFIs and RFPs, negotiations, pricing and deal closure.

  • Willingness to travel for sales meetings, marketing events etc. (primarily within US).

  • Working knowledge of FDA and EMA regulations pertaining to Drugs, Biologics, Vaccines and Medical Devices.

  • Familiarity with the use and administration of the Argus Safety product suite.

  • Working knowledge of pharmacovigilance (PV) operations and good understanding of applicable client requirements in PV.
